04 // Shoot briefing

What to Expect

Everything from the first hello to the final gallery, so there are no surprises.

  1. The experience

    Working with us

We're just as relaxed as you are (but maybe a little goofier). We want your shoot to feel less like being told how to perform and more like a conversation with friends, because that's when people look most like themselves.

    • We arrive 15–30 minutes before your session to set up and get familiar with the venue.
    • We'll start with introductions and a conversation about what you're hoping to get from the shoot.
    • Once we've shared our creative approach, we welcome your input, so bring any ideas or inspiration you'd like us to capture.
  2. On set

    When we direct the shoot

We'll first ask about your preferences and if you had any ideas that you thought of walking into this. We have a shotlist of our own we'll be completing throughout the day but the sky is the limit, and we'd love to pursue anything that you think of on the spot. Moodboards and concepts photos are not only welcomed but encouraged. Don't worry if you typically feel awkward in photos, we can step in (or out) of posing you as much as we need to make you feel comfortable.

  3. Deliverables

    What you'll receive
